At Concrete Rose Publishing, we believe the most unforgettable stories are the ones that dare to tell the truth, challenge expectations, and leave readers feeling something long after the final page.

We are an independent publishing house dedicated to bold storytelling, authentic voices, and characters who refuse to fit neatly into anyone else's expectations.

We are accepting manuscript submissions from new, emerging, and established authors.

Whether you're publishing your first novel or looking for a new home for your writing, we want to discover stories that demand attention.

What We're Looking For

Concrete Rose Publishing welcomes compelling, original fiction across a variety of genres, including:

We are especially interested in emotionally layered storytelling, distinctive voices, complex characters, and stories that aren't afraid to explore difficult subjects.

Submission Guidelines

To submit your manuscript for consideration, please include:

1. Query Letter: Introduce yourself, your manuscript, its genre, and why you believe it's a fit for Concrete Rose Publishing.
2. Book Synopsis: A one-to-two-page summary of your story, including the central conflict and ending.
3. Manuscript Sample: The first three chapters or approximately 30 pages of your manuscript.
4. Author Biography: A short introduction highlighting your writing background and any previously published work.
5. Manuscript Details: Include your working title, genre, approximate word count, and whether the manuscript is complete.

Formatting: Submit your materials as Word documents (.docx) or PDFs. Use a readable 12-point font and double-spaced manuscript pages.

Please submit original work that you own or have the legal right to submit.

Our Review Process

Every manuscript deserves thoughtful consideration.

Our anticipated response window is 6–8 weeks from receipt of a complete submission.

Due to submission volume, we may not be able to provide individual editorial feedback on every manuscript.

Submission does not guarantee publication or representation. If your work is selected for further consideration, our team will contact you regarding the next steps.

A Few Things to Know

• We welcome submissions from authors regardless of previous publishing experience.
• We do not require authors to have a literary agent to submit.
• Please do not send original physical manuscripts.
• Authors retain ownership of their work unless and until a separate publishing agreement is negotiated and signed.
• Submission materials will be used for editorial evaluation.
