Andre Carmelo Sanchez
Author | Young Adult Fiction, Sports Fiction & Coming-of-Age Drama
Andre Carmelo Sanchez is an emerging author whose storytelling explores the intersection of sports, family, identity, and the challenges of growing up.
Drawing inspiration from his passion for football and the realities young athletes face both on and off the field, Andre creates stories that go beyond touchdowns, championships, and Friday night lights. His writing examines the pressures of expectations, the weight of personal struggles, and the resilience it takes to discover who you are when the game is no longer the center of everything.
His debut novel, Pain Builds Character, introduces readers to Carmelo Santiago, a talented high school running back navigating family challenges, adversity, and the difficult journey toward finding his own identity.
Through emotionally grounded characters and authentic experiences, Andre hopes to connect with young readers who understand that success isn't always measured by what happens on the scoreboard.
