*She didn't want to steal her husband. She wanted to become his wife.*

Victoria Bennett has everything a woman could want.

A thriving career. A beautiful Boston brownstone. A handsome, successful husband. A marriage that has made her and Julian one of the city's most admired power couples.

**At least that's what everyone believes.**

When Julian begins an affair with Allison Mercer, the seemingly harmless receptionist at his law firm, he assumes he can walk away before his wife discovers the truth.

But Allison isn't interested in being somebody's secret.

**She wants the house.**

**The name.**

**The money.**

**The husband.**

And most of all, **she wants Victoria's life.**

As anonymous messages, professional sabotage, and increasingly disturbing encounters begin unraveling Victoria's carefully built world, she discovers that her husband's infidelity has opened the door to something far more dangerous.

Because Allison has been watching.

Studying.

Waiting.

And she's decided that the only thing standing between her and the life she deserves is the woman who already has it.

**Some women want your man. Others want to erase every trace that you ever existed.**
